Cairo, Sept. 4, (BNA) Egypt, on Monday, decided to resume its diplomatic ties with Costa Rica and Salvador after both countries had moved their embassies from Quds to Tel Aviv.
Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Abul Gheit described the move as a positive step saying that the necessary regulations for resumption of ties were going on.
It is worth noting that Egypt interrupted diplomatic ties with Costa Rica in 1983 and with Salvador in 1984 after they had moved their embassies from Tel Aviv to Quds.
